Agents from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Oconee County Councilman Matthew Durham, 38, with Domestic Violence 2nd and Unlawful Neglect of a Child. Details from the investigation are in the warrants attached.
SLED was requested to investigate by Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.
Durham was booked at the Oconee County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
This is not the first time Mr. Durham has come into the media concerning Domestic Abuse 9 months ago Fits News published an article concerning allegations of domestic abuse on Mr. Durham’s wife.
