The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Michealus Antoine Jackson,
36, with Animal Fighting or Baiting and Ill Treatment of Animals on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.

Jackson was booked into the Darlington County Detention Center.
