The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Linda Perry Dennett, 77, with
Obstruction of Justice and Misprision of a Felony on Thursday, July 3, 2025. The arrest is related
to the officer-involved shooting that occurred on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in Darlington County.
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.
