The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Michael Joseph Timo, 34, with
Misconduct in Office on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. The Cayce Police Department requested the
SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Timo was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
According to the warrant issued, former CPD Officer Micheal Joseph Timo signed and admitted to having sexual relations with a woman while on duty near his patrol unit at the Cayce Tennis Court Complex on March 29th, 2025.
