Sheriff Leon Lott announces the arrest of 20 year old Raheem Deangelo Jackson (05/11/04), for murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
Jackson is charged with the murder of a 46 year old man that occurred in the early morning on June 12th 2024, at the 7200 block of Fairmont Road in Columbia.
The investigation revealed that the shooting was the result of a towing company reposseing a vehicle.
The investigation is still ongoing. The RCSD is asking for anyone who maybhave been there or has any information about the shooting to contact the Sheriff’s Department or Crime Stoppers. Tips can be submitted anonymously through crimesc.com
Jackson is charged with one count of murderand possession of a firearm during a violent crime. He has been transported to the Alvin S Glenn Detention Center.
