Shooting at Tropical Breeze Bar & Grill

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting incident that sent one man to the hospital. Just before 1:00 Sunday morning, Mar. 7, deputies were called to Tropical Breeze Bar & Grill (1004 Zimalcrest Dr) in reference to a shooting with one person hit. Witnesses at the scene said a gun shot was fired on the back deck of the business and a man was hit. They said several men put the victim in a car and left prior to deputies arriving on scene. The victim was dropped off at the hospital where he was treated for a gunshot injury to the lower body. This incident remains under investigation.
