The Richland County Sheriff’s Department announces the arrest of Keith Bagley (DOB: 03/21/1960) in reference to an early Sunday morning shooting.
On September 28, 2025, at approximately 1:15 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 10 block of Forest Walk Ct for a shooting. When deputies arrived on scene, a male victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body was located at a residence near the incident location. While gathering information, it was determined that the suspect was still at the incident location. Deputies made contact with the suspect, who was drinking a beer on the front porch of the incident location.
While detaining the suspect on the porch, a female victim with a gunshot wound was located in the doorway of the incident location, lying face down and unresponsive. EMS responded and declared the female victim deceased at the scene. The male victim was transported to the hospital by EMS.
The suspect was identified as Bagley. Bagley was arrested and charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, and two counts of Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. He was transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, where he is awaiting a bond hearing.
