On September 10, 2025, Criminal Sexual Conduct Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rickey Damon Teal and charged him with three counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor. According to Investigators, on two occasions between the dates of June 2021 and June 2025, Teal is alleged to have engaged in a lewd and lascivious act with a minor under the age of 14 years. In addition, investigators allege that on July 4, 2025, Teal attempted to engage in a lewd and lascivious act with a minor under the age of 14.
Teal is being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
