RCSD Deputies were dispatched yesterday, August 29, to the 20 block of Stillorgan Road in The View neighborhood for reports of gunfire damage.
The homeowner stated that on August 23, he heard gunfire coming from the woods behind his residence. Yesterday, he reported that he discovered a single bullet hole in the siding near his back door.
This comes after another report was made in nearby homes in the same neighborhood.
On Saturday, August 23rd, the day of the initial report, the owner of the range verbally agreed to close down and re-evaluate the range safety procedures. Yesterday, the owner confirmed there has been no shooting at the range since the initial report on Saturday, and it will remain that way during the course of the investigation.
