The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Ricardo Darnell Jones, 45,
with Threatening the Life of a Public Employee and two counts of Assault & Battery – 3rd
Degree on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Employment and
Workforce requested the SLED investigation.
