Sheriff Leon Lott announces the re-arrest of Timothy Ulness (04/24/01) for Third Degree Exploitation of a Minor.
On August 11, 2025, at approximately 2:15 p.m., RCSD’s Fugitive Task Force and Special Response Team arrested Ulness on an arrest warrant obtained after investigators found sexually explicit images and videos of children on Ulness’s cell phone.
During the execution of a search warrant following his arrest on August 5th, investigators found hundreds of files containing sexually explicit images and videos of children on his device. Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Third Degree Exploitation of a Minor.
Investigators are continuing to determine the exact number of images and videos containing sexually explicit material of children that were located on Ulness’ device and intend to bring more charges as the investigation continues.
Ulness will have a bond hearing on August 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., and Sheriff Lott will be in attendance to request that Ulness receive an appropriate bond.
ON BACKGROUND: On August 5, 2025, Timothy Ulness was arrested for charges of Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature and Kidnapping for an incident that occurred on August 2, 2025. During Ulness’s arrest, his cell phone was seized and a search warrant was obtained to search his cell phone for evidence of the incident on August 2nd.
