SLED CHARGES MCBEE POLICE DEPARTMENT CAPTAIN AND CHESTERFIELDCOUNTY WOMAN WITH OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICEAND OTHER CHARGES

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Gregory P. Block, 40, with
Misconduct in Office and Obstruction of Justice on Thursday, August 7, 2025. SLED also
charged Janece Jorden Curtiss, 34, with Unlawful Conduct Toward a Child and Obstruction of
Justice on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Both Block and Curtiss were booked into the Chesterfield County Detention Center.
