FLORENCE COUNTY SHERIFF OFFICE MAKES SECOND ARREST IN ROAD RAGE INCIDENT

Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have made a second arrest in the July 25, 2025, “road rage incident” which occurred near the intersection of Georgetown Road and Pocket Road in Florence, SC. Investigators allege that the incident originated in Darlington County involving vehicles driven by James Donald Robinson and Monxavior Jatrabian Oumari Williams. Once in Florence County, the drivers of the vehicles stopped and confronted one another before continuing onto Pocket Road. After driving a short distance, Robinson again encountered Williams, who was standing in the roadway with a rifle. Both parties exchanged gunfire, and both vehicles were struck. Both Williams and Robinson have been charged with Pointing and Presenting a Firearm and Discharging a Firearm into a Vehicle. Williams was arrested on July 25, 2025, and released from the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on July 26, 202,5, on a $20,000.00 surety bond.

Robinson is being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
