TIMMONSVILLE MAN ARRESTED FOR CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT
Criminal Sexual Conduct Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Timmonsville man and charged him with Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor, Disseminating Harmful Material or Performance to Minors and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. According to Investigators, between the dates of July 2022 and July 2024, Poe is alleged to have engaged in the sexual battery of a 9 year old victim at a residence on the Lamar Highway in Timmonsville, SC. In addition, Investigators allege that during the same time period, Poe exhibited a harmful performance by depicting a sexual act, showing pornographic material and providing the minor victim with alcohol, cigarettes and vape, resulting in physical and mental impairment.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
Poe is being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
