Your KCSO is currently investigating a shooting incident that took place on the 800 block of Watts Hill Road in Lugoff at about 2:20 pm today (6/27/25). According to multiple witnesses, three men were walking down Watts Hill Road when they began having some type of argument with a homeowner sitting on his front porch. The argument led to the exchange of gunfire by the homeowner and the men walking by. One of the men on the road was shot in the arm and was transported away by ambulance. The other two men left the area in what was described as a tan/brown Chevrolet Tahoe.
At this time, we believe all parties involved knew each other. This was not a random shooting. We believe the remaining two men involved left the area immediately after the shooting. More information will be released as it becomes available.
