SLED CHARGES 2ND INDIVIDUAL WITH PRACTISING LAW WITHOUT A LICENSE IN OCONEE, SOUTH CAROLINA

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Daniel Johnson, 36, with two
counts of Practicing Law Without a License on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The SLED investigation
was requested by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

Daniel Johnson attempted to represent a family member in a civil action. The arrest comes due to the fact that Johnson has never been a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, nor does he have a license to practice law.
