On March 26, 2025, just before 11:00 am, deputies responded to the 100 block of Pleasant Drive in reference to a shooting. Once on the scene, deputies located a victim with a gunshot wound to the lower body; the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Further investigation revealed that Mosley had broken into a residence on Pleasant Drive and stolen a rifle and a golf cart. Mosely then drove down the street to another residence, where he stole a side-by-side ATV from that property and left the golf cart.

The owner of the ATV arrived home, saw the golf cart, and recognized it as his neighbor’s. He then heard a loud boom and saw his pick-up truck start smoking. Mosley, while on the ATV, approached the victim, robbed him of his cell phone, and shot him before fleeing.

Deputies began to search for Mosely and eventually located the suspect on the ATV with the stolen rifle and stolen phone in his possession. Deputies attempted to stop the ATV, but Mosely fled, leading the deputies on a brief vehicle pursuit. Mosely wrecked and attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended. After being detained, Mosely attempted to take a deputy’s firearm. There were no reported injuries or property damage from the pursuit.

Mosely is charged with Burglary 1st, Burglary 3rd, two counts of Grand Larceny, Petit Larceny, Failure to Stop for Blue Lights and Siren, Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature, Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Attempting to Take a Law Enforcement Weapon. He was transported to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Since Mosely’s arrest on March 26, he has been connected to a strong-arm robbery that occurred the day before, March 25, 2025. On March 25, at the 10000 block of Garners Ferry, Mosley assaulted and robbed a construction worker, taking the victim’s cell phone. Mosley fled the incident location and was not located. Charges related to this incident are forthcoming.
