SLED CHARGES LEXINGTON COUNTY MAN WITHCRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT WITH A MINOR AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has charged a Lexington County man with serious offenses involving a minor. Luther Jackson Truluck (image not available at time of article), 30, was arrested on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor – Second Degree and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

The investigation into Truluck’s actions was initiated at the request of the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department. Following a thorough inquiry, SLED agents determined sufficient evidence to proceed with formal charges against him.

Authorities have not disclosed additional details regarding the case to protect the identity of the victim and maintain the integrity of the ongoing investigation. However, officials emphasized that cases involving minors are taken extremely seriously, and all necessary measures will be taken to ensure justice is served.

Truluck is expected to face court proceedings, where prosecutors will present the evidence gathered during the investigation. If convicted, he could face significant legal consequences under South Carolina law.

SLED continues to work closely with local law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute crimes against minors. Officials encourage anyone with information related to this case or other incidents of child exploitation to come forward and report to law enforcement.
