Sheriff Leon Lott announces the arrest of an Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center guard, Ken Igboka, 41.
On February 4, 2025, Richland County Sheriff’s Department investigators were notified by jail staff of an incident that had occurred on January 1, 2025, between an inmate and Igboka. The investigation revealed that on January 1, Igboka became involved in a physical altercation with an inmate. The inmate sustained minor injuries during the altercation and Igboka failed to report the incident.
Today, February 12, 2025, Igboka was arrested and is charged with Misconduct in Office and Assault and Battery 2nd Degree. He is booked at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
