Sheriff Lott announces the arrest of Braden Robinson (DOB: 06/27/1984) on May 25, 2024.
On May 24, 2024, at approximately 8:00 pm, deputies responded to a residence at the 5400 block of Bluff Rd in reference to a shooting incident. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim. The victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body and was transported to a local hospital. After further investigation, it was determined that the victim was shot by her fiancé, Braden Robinson. Robinson had left the incident location and was located by RCSD investigators later the same night. The events that led to the shooting are still under investigation.
Robinson was charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. He was transported to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center without further incident and is currently detained.
