On Saturday, December 2, 2023 at approximately 7:00 PM Deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a shooting with a victim on Sneed Road, Florence, SC. Upon arrival, Deputies located the victim with a gunshot wound. The suspect had fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for Angelo Ramone Townsend for Attempted Murder. Townsend is described as a 32 year old black male standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. See attached photograph.
