It is with great sadness that we share that beloved #ColumbiaPDSC K-9 Rex passed away peacefully on Saturday after suffering a medical emergency. K-9 Rex was surrounded by his handler & other loved ones at a local veterinarian hospital. The 8-year-old Belgian Malinois joined #ColumbiaPDSC in November 2016. During his police career, Rex conducted approx. 100 tracks, had 30 apprehensions & scores of alerts leading to the seizure of drugs & drug money. We salute Rex’s distinguished service.
