Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announces that three people have been charged in a shooting incident that happened near Ridge View High School in September and more are expected.
On September 29, around 12:30 pm, deputies responded to multiple reports of shots fired in a neighborhood adjacent to Ridge View High School.
Deputies were able to determine that gunfire was exchanged in the pool/recreational area of 92 Marchbank Parkway. They did not receive any reports of people injured or property damage as a result.
Brian Samuel, Jr. (DOB: 12/23/03) is charged with aggravated breach of peace. He was booked into Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Two juveniles – a 15-year-old and 17-year-old – are also charged with aggravated breach of peace. Their identities are not being released because of their age.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
