UPDATE: FLORENCE COUNTY SHERIFF CHARGES TWO IN SHOOTING OF 11 YEAR OLD

FCSO Investigators have arrested two men in connection with April 24, 2022, fatal shooting of an eleven (11) year old child on Glendale School Road near Scranton, SC. According to Investigators, the incident began when Montarrio Leveme Graham allegedly came onto the property of a neighbor carrying a firearm and following a verbal dispute with Crandell Corodell Burgess, refused to leave after several warnings. Investigators allege that while attempting to shoot Graham, Burgess accidentally shot the 11-year-old resulting in his death.
Both subjects are being held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
