The Myrtle Beach Police Department has charged Jimmie Patterson, 75, of Myrtle Beach, with unlawful neglect of a child or helpless person following an investigation into an incident that occurred on a school bus this morning, Thursday, March 3, 2022.
Patterson, the school bus driver, attempted to forcibly remove personal property a child had in their possession.
