Investigators with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who held up a convenience store at gunpoint.
It happened at the Exxon convenience store at 7850 Garners Ferry Road on Oct. 11 around 9:45 p.m.
Surveillance video shows the man, wearing a grey and black hoodie and facemask, approach the counter as if to purchase drinks.
He then pulled out a handgun with an extended magazine, pointed it at both clerks and demanded cash and cigarettes.
The clerks put the items in his bag and the man exited the back of the store.
Anyone with information about this incident or the man’s identity is asked to submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at crimesc.com. Tips may be made anonymously and could earn the tipster a cash reward if the tip leads to an arrest.
