The internet has always been a tool for groups seeking reform. But now a Campaign to change what many call an abusive system has taken the internet by storm.
#PAisDA We are faces against Parental Alienation!, and #ParentalAlienation is an International Campaign against Parental Alienation. The campaign creates “Memes” for Social Media of Alienated Parents and Adult Children who have lived the horrors of being alienated from a loving parent.
What makes this movement different from past movements is that it places the faces of the victims (the children) alongside the faces of the alienated parents. We interviewed 3 individuals who worked at getting this campaign going to show the effects of this abusive system and why this campaign is so important.
Many parents and adult children who have been alienated state that the process begins to take hold in the Family Court system when they are ordered to be apart from a parent.
Professional Psychologists have stated that children do not have the mental growth to deal with losing a loving parent, and that the statistics show the results of the abuse these children are subjected to. Many of these children suffer from severe mental issues and these lead to the potential risks of drug usage, self-harm, isolation and sadly in many cases to suicide.
In the past several years these movements to reform the family court industry have grown, many consisting of Parents and Adult Children. These Organizations are forcing a change in many States and Countries to prevent the further denial of Children’s Rights to both loving and fit parents in their lives.
