Investigators with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a convenience store.
The incident happened just before 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 11 at the Circle K at 90 Clemson Rd. The clerk said the man in these surveillance pictures is a regular in the store and had been inside the business off and on throughout the previous night.
The clerk said at one point, while she was helping another customer, the man came around the counter and grabbed money out of the cash register drawer. When she picked up the phone to call for help, the suspect tried to push her into the office in an effort to get the surveillance video. When the clerk informed him that she didn’t have access to the cameras, the man left the store.
Anyone who recognizes this man or who has any information about this incident is asked to call RCSD at (803) 576-3000 or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at crimesc.com or through the P3 Tips app.
