Officers are investigating after responding to a shooting near 12th Avenue North and Withers Alley around 1:30 am on Sunday, April 24, 2022.
Officers working in the area heard gunshots and located three injured persons. All three wounded persons were taken to the hospital for treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
There will be an increased law enforcement presence in the area while the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact MBPD at 843-918-1382 and reference event number 220409185.

Officers are continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred in the area of 12th Avenue North and Withers Alley around 1:30 am on Sunday, April 24, 2022.
One person has died from injuries, and one other is still receiving treatment for a gunshot wound. The third person identified last night was released from the hospital after treatment for abrasions. A fourth person was also treated for a gunshot wound and released.
