The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting incident that left a man dead.
Deputies were called to the 200 block of Devoe Drive around 2:40 a.m. today, April 6, in reference to a person being shot. They arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound in the lower body. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
This is an ongoing investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
